Retold: folk tales from the African continent
Because they bring to life the magic of African wildlife, I’m writing this blog that gives credit to and carries forward traditional African folk tales, myths and fables about animals. These stories (which are often no longer being told) frequently have a moral theme to them, and are often used to explain animal behaviour or to educate on correct behaviour. By listening to these stories, just feel the warmth and cosiness of the campfire and come and experience Africa! The stories are accompanied by a paragraph called ’8 fascinating facts’ about the animal that is ‘in the spotlight’ and feature some photos that I took in Kruger National park.
